Nebbiolo

A red grape from Piemonte and Asti, as well as throughout north western Italy. The name is derived from the word nebbia, meaning fog.

A great wine which changes characteristics as it ages. Nebbiolo is the grape used to produce Barolo and Barbaresco by law.

Pairs well with: pasta with shaved white truffles, beef braised in red wine.
