2021 Sangiovese

Bright garnet color leads to aromas of dense cherries and blackberries, acidity is balanced with a core of plums and baking spices on the palate.  100% Sangiovese sustainably grown on the Orsi Home Ranch, high above the Southeastern end of the Dry Creek Valley, these are the oldest Italian varietal vines grown on the ranch.  Fermented naturally in small open top fermenters and punched down by hand, this wine was aged for 2 1/12 years in neutral French oak barrels.     pH 3.61  TA  6.4 g/l
